We started 9:3 Ranch in the pursuit of self-sufficiency and to provide real, fresh food for our family and friends. Right now we primarily provide baked goods, including sourdough (scones bread, cookies, and more). As well as freeze-dried fruit for healthier snacking but we are growing every day. Whether we can provide you with real food or help you on your way to making your own, we would love to meet you!
Sincerely, Nicole & Ryan Smith

9:3 Ranch holds a special place in our hearts for a few reasons. First, the name comes from a Bible verse, Genesis 9:3, which declares, 'Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you; and just as I gave you the green plants, I give you everything,' It's a meaningful reminder of how we're provided for and blessed by God
Plus, our anniversary falls on September 3rd, so the name has this extra meaning for us—it's like a double celebration every year.
And here's a fun fact: we actually chose our wedding date after watching an episode of Bob's Burgers where they joke about September 3rd being easy to remember because 9 is divisible by 3. It started as a silly idea, but now it's a sweet part of our story.
So, 9:3 Ranch isn't just a name—it's a symbol of abundance, love, and a dash of humor that makes our journey together even more memorable."

We raise angora goats.
Their temperament it so lovely and the wool is one of the softest in the world. We shear our goats twice a year. They are not free range but they do get out on occasion to show us they think they should be.

Nicole spends a significant amount of her time on the farm running back and forth to take care of the animals and her beloved sourdough.
she loves getting to share her baked goods with the community

Ryan's always in the woodshop working on something new.
He's got all sorts of things up there- planters, coffee tables, bedframes you name it. When you visit his workshop you'll see its a place where he puts a lot of care into what he does. Each piece he makes has its own style and feels really well-crafted. Its where he brings his ideas to life and makes the things that make a house feel more like a home.

We first got our freeze dryer as a way to help preserve our own harvest. It soon became a favorite among extended family and friends so we decided to offer a few of our favorites for sale.
